78th Annual fall festival fundraiser held the first Saturday of November (November 2, 2024). Coffee available at 7AM. Sales start at 9AM for pieces of pie by the slice, crafts, homemade candy, homemade whole fruit and cream pies, cinnamon rolls, world-famous breakfast sausage, beef steaks, lamb chops. Twenty-first 10K run and 5K walk begins at 9AM (registration information available online at powellbuttechurch.com). Uplifting music concert at 10:30AM. Pit BBQ at 11:30AM including pit-roasted beef, ham, lamb, baked potato, and beans. Auction at 1PM to include handmade tied quilts.
