Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM PDT
Event Description:
Supporting NeighborImpact and its Emergency Food Program, First Interstate Banks' Empty Bowls fundraising event, presented by Lonza Pharma & Biotech, will take place on October 27, 2019 at the Central Oregon Community College Campus Center. Event guests will receive a beautifully handcrafted bowl made by local potters as well as gourmet soup or chili made by Cascade Culinary Institute students, artisan bread from the Village Baker, beverages, and dessert from students at Mountain View High School as well as Bleu Bite Catering. Guests will enjoy a relaxed dining experience and the music of a local band, "Parlour," reuniting just for this event.

Empty Bowls is an internationally recognized event that raises awareness of hunger and food insecurity. Attendees keep their handcrafted bowls as a reminder of the thousands of bowls that remain empty every day in Central Oregon. First Interstate Bank and its Foundation are committed to supporting our communities through charitable giving. Funds raised from the local event support NeighborImpact and its Emergency Food Assistance program, which provides food for over 22,000 people each month and distributes over three million pounds of food over a year's time.
