Event Description:
OSU Extension Service Master Gardener Volunteers invite you to join them in the NorthWest Crossing Community Garden to play and learn about planting seeds, marking your plants and the benefits of worms in the garden.Though this class is geared more for kids, it is informative and fun for all ages! Gardening provides different forms of engagement for children, including designing, planting and maintaining gardens: harvesting, preparing and sharing food; working cooperatively in groups; learning about science and nutrition and creating art and stories in the garden. SCHEDULED ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: ~ Planting flower seeds to take home! ~ Rock painting for markers or just for fun! ~ Feeding and watering worms!

The NWX Community Garden is located at the corner of NW Crossing Drive and Discovery Park Drive next to the Discovery Park dog park
