Brett is a Leadership Development Professional at Humessence, LLC. with a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Colorado University. Brett has lead teams for 30 years and has 5 years of experience applying a leadership development program he calls HUMan-Based LEadership development (HUM-B-LE). This program is detailed in his book, Discovering Leaders Within: A modern guide for cultivating your team’s potential. Brett received his professional coaching certification in 2017. At the heart of HUM-B-LE is developing individual and team emotional intelligence (E.I.): the attribute most highly correlated with high performing leaders. In HUM-B-LE, Brett partners with Leaders to grow E.I. and create a climate of psychological safety that enables team peak performance leading to exceptional business results. Brett presents workshops, gives keynote talks, and implements HUM-B-LE in organizations.
