About Us

New Leaf Academy is operated by Program Design Concepts, Inc. Founded in 1997, New Leaf is a therapeutic boarding school for young girls, ages 10 through 15. Academically, we offer a fully accredited educational curriculum, grades 5 through 10, designed to work with a wide range of learning issues, from remedial through advanced. Therapeutically, we are licensed by the State of Oregon, Department of Human Resources, as a Therapeutic Boarding School. Presenting diagnoses may include anxiety, mood and spectrum disorders, PTSD, trauma and a range of social and emotional challenges. Our licensed therapists offer many therapeutic options, including DBT, CBT, EMDR, Social Thinking and structural family therapy. Sports and activities include art, music, dance, horsemanship, competitive soccer, skiing, snowboarding, backpacking, camping, swimming, river rafting and a variety of intramural sports. Our students represent over 15 states and several foreign countries.
