What's Brewing: Ballot Backfire—How Measure 118 Will Hurt Business & Consumers—September 17

Tuesday, September 17, 2024 (5:00 PM - 7:30 PM) (PDT)

Description

The state of Oregon is exceptional in some areas, including quality of life and our spirit of innovation. Yet we remain uncompetitive in others, as our state and local taxes are among the nation’s highest, making living and doing business in the state increasingly unaffordable. Further complicating this is Measure 118, a ballot initiative seeking a $6.8 billion tax increase with significant impacts for businesses and consumers alike.
