Central Oregon Mastersingers & Orchestra - What Sweeter Music!

Sunday, December 14, 2025 (2:00 PM - 3:30 PM) (PST)

Description

Celebrate the joy of the season with the Central Oregon Mastersingers in our annual holiday concert at the Tower Theatre! This year’s program, What Sweeter Music!, brings together timeless classics, fresh new arrangements, and opportunities for the whole audience to lift their voices in song. At the heart of the evening is Antonio Vivaldi’s radiant Magnificat, performed with chamber orchestra and soloists. This beloved masterpiece shimmers with energy and devotion, perfectly capturing the essence of the Baroque period. Alongside Vivaldi, you’ll hear cherished carols and festive favorites, including a moving new arrangement of O Come, O Come Emmanuel by Tim Kile, John Rutter’s tender What Sweeter Music, and a soulful, gospel-inspired setting of Lo, How a Rose E’er Blooming. Adding to the merriment, we invite you to join us in joyful sing-alongs of traditional holiday songs—an experience that transforms the evening into a true community celebration. Whether you come with friends, family, or simply to surround yourself with glorious music, this concert is the perfect way to embrace the warmth and wonder of the holiday season. Come share in an unforgettable night of harmony, tradition, and holiday cheer with the Central Oregon Mastersingers!
