Church of Neil a Bend Roots Event

The Church of Neil, founded in 2003, celebrates its 22nd year and takes place on the Saturday closest to Neil Young's birthday annually. This year marks Neil's 80th time around the sun. The Church of Neil is a lively celebration of Young's work, aiming to inspire everyone from the 100s who attend to the 40+ musician who donate their talents. Admission is a suggested twenty-dollar donation at the door, benefiting The Bend Roots' fund which supports the Bend Roots Festival, local schools and the artist who teach there, music camps, and other projects that bring music and connection to the Central Oregon Community. 

This year's event features 14 bands across 4 stages at 3 venues, making it the biggest and best Church service yet! Gather together to enjoy songs from Young's vast catalog, showcasing his lasting dedication to human connection and his passion for Mother Earth. From acoustic classics like "Old Man" and favorites like "Harvest Moon" and "Tonight's the Night" to intense rockers like "Cortez the Killer,". At the Church of Neil, we dance and sing in celebration!
