Most of us will only ever interact with Oregon's child-welfare system through a news story, however this system is far more interconnected and intricate than most people perceive. The purpose of the system is to support children by preserving the connection between children and their families. 

Join us to learn about the data that describes the state of vulnerable children in Oregon and Central Oregon, how the system could provide better outcomes, how trauma impacts children's lives and how all community members can help. Whether you have children or rarely interact with them, there is a role for all of us to play. Presenters will included representatives from the Oregon Department of Human Services, local non-profits and perspectives on childhood trauma.
