TEN OVER STUDIO is seeking a full-time Project Architect/Senior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with building design and construction documentation along with code research, specifications, and sustainable design. This role will also entail consultant coordination, project management along with oversight and mentorship of junior staff. We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about the profession and enjoys working with a talented team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in project proposal preparation and contract negotiations
• Development of the project program and initial design concepts for various projects
• Lead the project code analysis and technical design and documentation
• Travel to project sites
• Mentor and lead project team members
• Communicate with and nurture client, contractor, consultant, and agency relationships

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Architecture and Project Management
• Current knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications and trends
• Proficient in Revit, Microsoft Word/Excel, Bluebeam and InDesign
• Ability to effectively collaborate with and manage project teams
• Strong design, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and delegation abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Experience with sustainable design and LEED certification is preferred
