Sierra James Construction is a leading Design-Build-Remodel and Disaster Restoration company serving Bend and Central Oregon. Founded in 2017 by Jesse Rowden and joined by partner Charley Roberts in 2019, Sierra James has grown to a team of 50+ professionals — including an on-staff architect and a highly skilled team of craftsmen.

The Design-Build-Remodel side of the company specializes in custom home building, large-scale home remodels, Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), additions, and smaller kitchen and bathroom renovations. We also have a strong focus on multigenerational living, accessibility, and universal design — creating homes that are beautiful first, and thoughtfully designed to support people of all abilities and every stage of life.

As a full-service design-build firm offering in-house architectural services, we guide homeowners through every step of the process — from architectural design and permitting to construction and finishing — delivering high-quality, timeless spaces built for Central Oregon living.

Sierra James Construction is also Central Oregon’s largest disaster restoration company and is triple IICRC-certified. Our services include water damage mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, mold remediation, and full-service repairs to restore homes and bring peace of mind to families. We offer 24/7 emergency response for after-hours home, multifamily, or business fires, floods, or structural damage. Our team includes six estimators who walk clients through the insurance process, and our Disaster Restoration Repairs team — the largest in Central Oregon — allows us to handle emergencies from start to finish.
