R.A.D. Camps

About

Since 2008, R.A.D. Camps has been dedicated to connecting youth (ages 3-17) with the natural beauty of Central Oregon. We blend free play, environmental education, and immersive outdoor experiences and guided adventures to spark creativity, independence, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors.

Our expanded programming now includes:

• Nature-based daycare for ages 3–4
• Outdoor adventure day camps for ages 4-17
• Rock climbing and cycling programs
• Teen leadership experiences
• A creative Art & Design Studio for hands-on building and imagination

From preschoolers discovering local parks for the first time to teens refining wilderness and leadership skills, every program is thoughtfully designed to meet kids at their developmental stage. Campers explore through guided hikes, unstructured play, technical skill-building, and creative expression.

Whether scaling a rock wall, biking forest trails, designing in the studio, or simply building forts in the woods, children leave R.A.D. with new friendships, deeper confidence, and a stronger connection to the natural world.
