MORNING SESSIONS

Meet and connect with other young professionals and local leaders. Your day will begin at the Tower Theatre with our keynote, Pamela Barnum. Pamela spent over twenty years working in the criminal justice system, first as an undercover police officer and later as a prosecuting attorney. In her presentation Tactical Influence: The Power of Trust, Pamela will share how influence is an essential element of leadership. You can implement tactical influence to increase confidence, resilience, and trust, especially in the face of challenges. Learn how to close the gap between intentions and impact, resulting in improved outcomes critical to success. Using undercover police techniques backed by research, you’ll discover the art of persuasion vital to long-term success.

You will leave the keynote session with a better understanding of how you can:

  • Leverage intentional communication cues for increased collaboration and improved negotiations. Learn the number one undercover technique that makes you five times as likely to close a deal even when all seems lost.
  • Design a culture of trust to increase productivity, creativity, and happiness within the organization without spending more time or money.
  • Communicate confidently and maintain a strong executive presence in times of uncertainty. Use fear and doubt to supercharge insight and eliminate imposter syndrome.

MOsley WOtta (MOWO) will then get us thinking in new ways in an interactive session. What are we willing to risk to see each other’s humanity? MOWO offers a conversation and performance about connection, boundaries, and our shared future history. This performance will include excerpts from “Sketch and Release: Black Creatives in Rural Oregon” and “Open Close Doors” MOWO’s forthcoming album. A reflective Q&A session will follow.

LUNCH & LEARN SESSIONS

After the morning sessions, grab your lunch and head into downtown Bend to a Lunch & Learn breakout session of your choice. With eight options to choose from, topics range from the art of conflict resolution, to crafting your career, to effective public speaking.

Please note, Lunch & Learn session spaces are limited: Register soon to secure your preferred session. All Lunch & Learn Sessions will be within walking distance of the Tower Theatre. Locations are subject to change.

THE AFTER PARTY!

Wrap up the day at Silver Moon's Webfoot Garage to connect with others, reflect on what we've learned, win fantastic door prizes and enjoy craft beverages. A great way to kick off the weekend with friends old and new.
